Wharfette Bistro opened in 1984, and it has been hugely successful, with people flocking from near and far for a taste of their acclaimed seafood, which many say is the best in the southern hemisphere. Mariners Wharf and the Harbour have a few curio shops, some live entertainment and more often than not the seals are out and about, a quick walk on the beach after feeding left overs to the sea gulls is a great way to finish off lunch.
