Join us for an unforgettable journey in the days leading up to our wedding! We've planned a series of optional activities to give you a taste of the breathtaking beauty and vibrant culture of Cape Town and the surrounding winelands.
Accommodations & Travel
For your convenience, we recommend booking accommodations in Cape Town near the Waterfront from Friday evening to Wednesday morning. Post Wednesday, consider relocating closer to Hazendal or nearby areas to be closer to the wedding festivities. Once we have all interested parties registered, we will finalize travel arrangements, including a central pickup and drop-off point for daily excursions. Our aim is to simplify logistics perhaps with a dedicated driver for further ease - this will depend on registrations.

Cape Town
Saturday 5th - Tuesday 8th 2025
Famous for its breathtaking sunsets, crystal-clear sea, and stunning natural scenery, Cape Town stands out as a beloved tourist destination, attracting visitors from across the globe. Given its undeniable charm and allure, it comes as no shock that this coastal paradise has clinched the prestigious title of the best city in the world for an impressive seven years in a row!
Stellenbosch
Wednesday 9th - Thursday 10th 2025
Stellenbosch is a picturesque university town in the heart of South Africa's Western Cape province. Encircled by the lush vineyards of the renowned Cape Winelands and the majestic mountainous landscapes of Jonkershoek and Simonsberg, this charming town exudes a tranquil ambiance. Its tree-lined streets, adorned with quaint cafes, stylish boutiques, and captivating art galleries, offer a delightful exploration for visitors. The presence of Cape Dutch architecture throughout the town provides a compelling glimpse into the rich historical tapestry of South Africa, reflecting its Dutch colonial heritage
Registration & Costs
To join any of the planned activities, a small deposit is required to secure your spot, with the balance due three months before the wedding.
We have provided cost estimates per activity in the itinerary but these we will finalise early January with deposits due then and the remainder due mid March.
Summary cost estimates per day -
(in local currency and at the MAXIMUM things could cost, with drinks included/estimated for where needed)
Saturday 5th April - approx. between R750 - R1000 per person (excursion with lunch)
Sunday 6th April - approx. between R675 - R1000 per person (long brunch with entertainment)
Monday 7th April - approx. R1500 per person (tour, lunch and gallery entry)
Tuesday 8th April - approx. R2000 per person (lunch, scenic drive and picnic)
Wednesday 9th April - approx. R3500 per person (full day wine tour, guide and transport with lunch)
Thursday 10th April - approx. R1500 per person (excursions with lunch)
TOTAL - approx. between R10000 - R12000 to participate in all events
*Currently excluded - transport to and from excursion starting point and end point; we are working to get these included as well, but will need clarity as to registrations and accommodation locations to finalise this.
